Classic films are hard to forget, Spike Lee’s film “She’s Gotta Have It” is one of them.  The film, celebrating its 30th year, will make its way to the small screen on Netflix . The company ordered 10 episodes all of which will be directed by Lee. He and his wife, Tonya Lewis Lee, are executive producers.

The series is based on Brooklynite artist Nola Darling, who is going through the journey of self-awareness, trying to juggle and balance her friends, job, and three boyfriends. Anthony Ramos, one of the original cast members of Hamilton, is set to play Mars Blackmon one of Darling’s boyfriends.
