Tommy Mykhal Ford made his transition today after his family made the decision to take him off of life support. The actor most known for his role on the show Martin was recovering from knee replacement surgery.
According to TMZ the complications started over the weekend. He was taken to the Hospital in Atlanta on Sunday due to a ruptured aneurysm in his abdomen. Ford played the role of Martin Lawrence’s best friend for all five seasons of the show from 1992 to 1997. He also had roles on other shows such as New York Undercover, The Jamie Foxx Show, The Parkers, and more.
Cast members took to social media to share condolences.
