The 42-year-old actress filed her lawsuit on Tuesday (October 11) at Los Angeles County Superior Court claiming that the cable channel promised to never shoot more than 13 episodes per season.

According to the Daily Mail, the Deliver Us From Eva star was set to receive $150,000 per season four episode and $165,000 per season five episode.

A required corporate policy in her contract included a provision allowing a minimum of 10 episodes and a max of 26 episodes per season. Union, who has portrayed Mary Jane Paul since 2013, is seeking damages for breach of contract and misrepresentation.

Union is also on the November cover of Essence magazine.
