It’s been quite a year for Gaithersburg, Maryland emcee Logic. Aside from the continued success of his sophomore album The Incredible True Story that was released in November of 2015, he has more recently become the recipient of two gold plaques.
One of the plaques is due to his debut LP Under Pressure selling more than 500 thousand copies to date. The other is for selling over 500 thousand singles of the hit record Sucker For Pain that is still currently in heavy rotation nationwide and also features Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons & Ty Dolla $ign.
Logic is currently crafting his third studio LP titled AfricAryaN that is due to release in 2017. On one of Dan Harmon’s recent Harmontown podcasts Logic explained a little about the meaning behind his album stating that
“Scientifically proven, the first man and woman are from Africa, and over time, culturally evolving into a lighter and lighter and much more fairer skin” and explaining further, “So the album is going to be called AfricAryaN. And it’s about me being black and white and seeing life from two sides.”
