With timeless records, classic albums, and longevity in the game that few are lucky enough to experience, the award couldn’t have gone to a more deserving artist. Nas has come a long way from the army fatigue rocking teenager hanging in the projects.

We’ve watched Nas go from an artist to the owner of his own record label (Mass Appeal) and becoming a brand ambassador for Hennessy with more than 20 years invested into the culture.

Diddy presented the Queens legend with his award after a speech detailing his relationship/friendship with Nas over the years. Mr. Jones accepted his award gracefully and referred to Diddy as not only his friend but his “brother”.

Salute to Nas for all of his hard work over the years and everything he has brought to the game. His dedication to the culture definitely hasn’t gone overlooked. Shine on King!
