A New Boston, New Hampshire police lieutenant told a female rookie of his “rapability scale” for the women he pulls over.
According to a new lawsuit, a male police officer in New Boston, New Hampshire shared some information with a female rookie officer: he wished he could rape the women he pulls over. Alexandra Drake, the female officer pursuing the lawsuit, was terminated from the New Boston Police department after she made a complaint against her supervisor, Michael Masella for “incessant sexism.”
In the lawsuit, Drake claims Masella bragged to her about having said “rapability scale” and even asked Drake her opinion on one of the female drivers, asking if she was “rapable.” In addition to Masella’s crude behavior while on the job, Masella also allegedly sexually harassed Drake, showing up to her home uninvited and proceeding to ask her if she was naked among other inappropriate remarks.
Lieutenant Masella has denied all accusations saying Drake “manufactured” the claims “to explain her termination.” Drake accuses the police department for suing her for “false, slanderous, and libelous allegations.” She is suing Masella, the New Boston Police Police chief, and several New Boston town board members who approved her termination.
