Despite being away in rehab, Kid Cudi’s joy is displayed in his visuals for “Surfin.” Featuring Pharrell, “Surfin” is the second single released from Cudi’s Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin’ album. The album was put to a pause—due to Cudi going to rehab for “depression and suicidal urges.”

Surprising us all, we are granted access to watch the music video for “Surfin.” Similar to “Frequency’s” music video, Cudi uses specific colors that give off a dark yet vibrant tone. In the video, you can catch cameos from A$AP Rocky and Jaden Smith; it’s truly a party.

On Nov. 5, Cudi will be performing live at ComplexCon, stating on his Twitter: “The love has been unfathomable. I look forward to hearing, breathing, and feeling it all at ComplexCon Nov 5th. Love and back to rehab.”

That statement happened prior to tweeting at Drake—which is a storyline of its own. For now, check out the visuals for “Surfin” below.
