Wale is a bit of a rift after skipping out on a NYC performance after already taking the money. The promotion company, Upfront and Personal Global, has filled a lawsuit against Wale for taking $25,000 for the show but then missing the performance. According to TMZ, legal documents show a signed contract between Upfront and Wale’s management team of the two wire transfer payments of $12,500. Upfront promoters claim that the D.C. rapper was unresponsive after they reached out to him trying to collect their money. In total, they are seeking the $25,000 that was paid to Wale as well as some interest.
