Growing up in the DMV (Virginia), the D.C. metropolitan area transit system is a vital form of transportation. In his music video for “Wi$hlist,” Bucky Malone draws inspiration from that system.

“In Playboi Carti and Lil Yachty’s ‘Run It track, Yachty says ‘India Love on my wish list. That line captivated me because it was so honest,” Malone said about the other inspiration for the track. “So from there, one day I was randomly chanting to myself ‘Keke Palmer on my wish list,’ then I started to think of my other celebrity crushes, and the next thing you know, I had a hook.”

Malone not only captures the essence of the area that is all-too familiar to him, but he does so behind the direction of RAHEEMXP. ICYTWAT delivers the production, which has been used by The A$AP Mob and the overgrowing talented collective that is Divine Council.
