Featuring B-Legit and Jazze Pha, “Savage” is only the latest from the veteran emcee, who’s managed to maintain his relevance with ease throughout the past four decades, most recently capping off the year with the Gold-Certified single “Choices (Yup)”.

“The first time the word Savage was ever said in the way we are saying it now that I recall, was 1989 in a song called ‘Mr. Flamboyant’,” says E-40. “I said, ‘Become a SAVAGE/ get swole boat ones/ 20-inch arms establish one-hitter quitters/ the whole get down/ now run up on me now.'”
