2016 has been a good year for the Philadelphia music scene. From Meek Mill dropping #DC4 to new artists such as Lil Uzi Vert and PNB Rock. But for 2017 there is one artist you should watch out for, his name is Ace Porter.

The Philly “writer/artist has been able to create a style of music that is universal. Ace started in a group called “One In The Chamber” rapping on local dvds at the age of 16. He also released his first mixtape “Mr. Porter”, that got him the attention of super producer Pop Wansel. After Pop introduced Ace to song writing, Ace later with business partner and uncle Robert Wheeler started a record label called “Bout Bread Entertainment”. Ace went on to record a project with Jahlil Beats called “Respect My Hustle”. Then his debut album “Respect My Hustle II” working with Empire TV show music producer “Rico Da Producer”. After years of performing, opening up for Cypresshill, B.O.B, Dee1, and selling out venues in Philadelphia included the legendary TLA. Ace and Robert started a clothing line called “EOTT” aka “Eye Of The Tiger”, which Teyana Taylor wore in Hip-Hop Weekly magazine. Ace later decided to step away from being in front of the camera but it was legendary producer/song writer Brian Michael Cox that would change that. In the summer of 2015, Ace met B. Cox in Atlanta looking to get some songs placed when B. Cox told Ace, ” your music is real big, you have to be the one to show the world who you are, says the multi-platinum producer. 2 Years later Ace honored his first mixtape by naming his new album “Mr. Porter”. The first single is “OMW” produced by Pace-O Beats and the video is directed by Shizz Who. The album drops December 25th but preorders are available now.
