Brampton R&B artist K. Forest is having a breakout year. The biggest W was his co-sign by Travis Scott who remixed Forest’s smash single “Guidance” and featured it on Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and has continued to support him publicly.
His latest project Eyes Of a Taiga is a return to form: a full body of work that weaves through flawless uptempo Toronto Afro Soca anthems (“Link“, “Before You Go“) to more traditional Future R&B tracks that feature honest, soulful lyricsm, in direct contrast to a scene often drenched in drug talk and hedonistic machismo . The EP is 11 tracks deep with production from right-hand dF along with Ye Ali, Bizness Boi, and Cardiak. Travis Scott was quick to publicly proclaim his excitement for the project tweeting:
