“Don’t Ruin Us God Said.”
With less than 72 hours remaining until DWTW drops, Ab-Soul continues to have fans salivating in anticipation. Today Soul shared a new song, “D.R.U.G.S.” with the trippy visuals to accompany it. The black and white video is filled with symbolism including balloons, roses, pills and an apple on fire. A foggy mirror captures Soul rapping about his addictions, his love for his mother, fans and music among other things.
Soul has no issue declaring his love for drugs while simultaneously asking for guidance. The video ends with a sweet phone call to his mother, “We out here in Paris, I just wanted to call to tell you that I love you.” Take a look at the video below and look out for the album this Friday, December 9.
