The debut single by The Notorious B.I.G. was produced by Poke of Trackmasters and Diddy. The song contains a sample of Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit,” with a directl sample from the song’s “Fruity Instrumental” mix, and an alternative chorus sung by Total. The song is widely considered as one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time.
