Much of Remi’s music has politically and socially active tones to it, calling for marriage equality, legalisation of marijuana and improvements in race relations in Australia. Citing a wide array of influences from RadioheadCommon, D’angeloJeff Buckley, Ice Cube, Outkast, J Dilla to early Bloc Party, Remi are determined not to be pigeonholed strictly in any strict definition of what hip hop music is.

Remi have toured across Australia building a reputation as a must-see live act, performing headline, club and festival shows, opening for Joey Bada$$ and the Under Achievers, The Pharcyde, De La Soul, Xzibit, Vic Mensa, Oddisee, Nas, Arrested Development, Danny Brown amongst others. Remi have also performed in New Zealand, toured the UK and continental Europe on multiple occasions and are currently touring Australia with Sampa The Great.
