Written and produced by the “unofficial Mayor” of Cleveland, the film, titled after his previous mixtape, features Ray Jr. and his castmates (Ripp Flamez, Doe Boy, and Pooh Gutta) confronting the reality of the community they live in, marred by murder and a high crime rate. Shot and edited by Khil Datta, the film displays the young men discovering that it takes a community-wide effort to improve the unity and status of the place they call home. Christian Dobbs also makes an appearance in the film, starring as Ray Jr.’s son.

The film features music from Jr.’s new mixtape entitled Lyrics Playlist. The 11-track project boasts a feature from Hip-Hop legend Fabolous on the already released remix to Ray Jr.’s hit song “Nosebleedz,” along with features from P The Artist, DJ Ryan Wolf and Ripp Flamez. Having released remixes to “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars and “Kodak Freestyle” by Kodak Black, the sky is truly the limit for Ray Jr. You can check out the short film Gold Packs The Movie up at the top.
