Natasha Walker is here to collect the funds owed to her for her background vocals on Tupac Shakur’s 1990s hit “Bury Me A G”.
Walker was in the R&B group Y?N-Vee, and claims that she didn’t receive a dime after the track’s release and that’s why she’s suing. TMZ reported that the singer made a deal with Pac in 1993 that the song would be a joint effort and she’d receive ownership.
Unfortunately, the statute of limits for contract claims is four years in California. Walker’s attorney, Jennifer Harris, argues that the singer has a case because the song continues to make money and she wants what she’s owed, including, royalties, back and current, plus damages and attorney’s fees.
