Tupac Shakur and Madonna dated three years before he died, and according to these unearthed letters the rapper wrote while serving time for sexual assault in Clinton Correctional Facility, he broke it off with the pop star because she’s white.
Pac confesses, “For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career, if anything it would make you seem that much more open and exciting.” He continued, “But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my ‘image’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was.”
The letter will be on auction at Gotta Have Rock And Roll and its starting bid is at $100K. Tupac’s last letter that was sold went for $170K. So let’s see how much this will go for because it definitely has the tea!
