The whirlwind that has been the year of 2017 within the government continues. Today, Director U.S Office Of Government Ethics, Walter Shaub, penned a letter to President Donald Trump alerting him of his intent to resign, effective July 19th. He emphasized the pleasure it has been to serve on the staff, with a special italicized portion stating “public service is a public trust” followed up with “requiring employees to place loyalty to the Constitution, the laws, and ethical principles above private gain.”

It’s no secret the ethics and intent of this current administration have been called into question on numerous instances.
