Wingstop and Wendy’s go bar-for-bar in an epic Twitter rap battle, and it reminds us why the Internet always wins.
The social media teams at the fast food restaurants launched into a full blown rap battle in a series of hilarious tweets. The showdown began after Wendy’s called Wingstop out for referencing Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble” in a cheesy joke (no pun intended). The wing joint clapped back with a quote about Wendy’s alleged claim to use frozen beef for their burgers. That’s when it all popped off.
“Fresh, never frozen since 69/Trying to cop that mixtape, better get in line/Grabbed a couple wings now you’re trying to fly/But nothing gets ’em dipping like a Frosty and fry
?,” Wendy’s tweeted. Things went 0-100 real quick after that clap back.
