In Crawfordsville, Indiana, a police officer fired a round of shots in a masked man’s direction- only to find out the masked man was an actor playing a role on a movie set at a local bar. Officials say they were not notified of the production happening prior to the incident and that the team did not issue a permit. The “armed actor” had a gun in hand, which was a prop for the robbery scene the production team had been filming.

New body-cam video footage has surfaced of the officer saying, “Drop the gun! Drop the gun!” Meanwhile the actor explains that they are filming a movie as the police officer is in disbelief. This situation further perpetuates the concern about production teams filing permits within cities in order to notify police. No injuries have been reported. Watch the body-cam footage below.
