There are a lot of great things that comes from Chicago, Illinois. Chance the Rapper, the Chicago Bulls, Joefreshgoods and now, the biggest Adidas company store in the world. The new 4,966 square foot flagship is located in the Wicker Park area of Chicago, adding a new cultural vibe and energy to the surrounding neighborhood. The building used to be home for both Reckless Records and Rodan, an Asian fusion lounge, but have now combined, creating an open, industrial space for the brand.

The city’s transit system plays the role of inspiration for the location, with custom signs displayed throughout the store, ones similar to the train lines and various stations. To further enhance a Chicago feel, customized art work by local artists POSE and TUBSZ, can also be seen at the location. There is also rotating gallery wall curated by nonprofit organization IPaintMyMind, a nonprofit organization that partnered with Adidas. Artists such as BJ The Chicago Kid and Knox Fortune performed at the opening party, this past Wednesday, with DJ ELZ on the turn tables. Saint Alfred and RSVP Gallery, two other street wear and sneaker stores sits in the same neighborhood of the flagship.

We are excited to be based in Wicker Park and look forward to building new relationships in the neighborhood.”

The new Wicker Park Adidas Originals store opened October 5 at 1532 N Milwaukee Avenue and will be open daily from 11am to 8pm.
