Cardi B is out here living her best life and we’re not mad at her.
Now that she don’t got to dance anymore and is making history on the Billboard charts, many are wondering how she balances her new fame. She told The Source that she remains grounded by visiting her family and eating the same foods that she used to eat. Cardi also confessed that she wishes she was still a “regular” girl and people treated her the same.
The “Bodak Yellow” emcee also revealed that the first song she ever made was “Washpoppin” off her Gangsta B*tch Vol. 1 mixtape. The Bronx native explained that she was always poetic and had the ability to rhyme, but now she’s actually spitting bars. She’s set to be featured on Migos‘ Culture 2 and we’re patiently waiting for her debut album.
Many people are doubting her longevity in the game but Cardi wants the world to put some respect on her name.
