He has been slowly rolling out music including one of the main singles, “Shooters”. The Toronto artist released the powerful visuals, and it’s truly heart breaking.

Tory and his friends attempt to get revenge on a police officer who murdered his cousin, and quickly learn that violence can’t be solved with more violence. The video kicks off with a disclaimer that explains his inspirations behind the video.

I made this intro because I felt that this was art that I needed to get off my chest as a result of the things many people have seen or experienced daily. I do not endorse any form of brutality. I do not feel like violence is the answer. However, in times of duress like we’re experiencing now, as a community, I believe that it is our responsibility to share our fears and concerns so that we may learn to support one another better.

A brief skit follows the disclaimer and it’s a situation that we’re all a little too familiar with. Check out the video for “Shooters” above.
