Kerry Washington is taking her talents to Facebook.
The Scandal star will be an executive producer for a forthcoming Facebook scripted, drama series titled Five Points. The show follows high school students from the South side of Chicago, and explores their four different points of views. When a life-changing event occurs, each perspective will need to understood to find out the truth. The cast currently includes CSI: Cyber alum Hayley Kiyoko and actress/model Madison Pettis.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with Indigenous and Facebook in order to tell this important, thought provoking and compelling story,” Kerry said. Variety reports that along with Washington, Jon Avnet and Jake Avnet of Indigenous Media will also executive produce with Indigenous’ Sage Scroope and Ben Fast on production.
The series was created by Adam Giaudrone and is set to air on Watch, Facebook’s new platform for original shows.
