It’s no secret that 50 Cent is making major moves in the TV business.
His STARZ series Power came second, only after Game of Thrones, as most viewed premium cable TV show and his BET venture 50 Central is nicely picking up on the airwaves.
Now, 50 may be trying to get a major Hollywood star, Gerard Butler, to join the cast of Power.
In a recent interview, Butler was asked about working with 50 on an upcoming project and, according to him, the experience was second to none. “He’s a great guy,” said Butler. “He did me a couple of favors on that movie, it was so incredible,” he added, referring to the rapper’s generosity in taking the time out to call kids whose birthday it was and even inviting other Hip-Hop artists to hop on the call as well.
When asked if he’d be willing to join the cast of Power, Butler didn’t say no, but also implied that he wasn’t going to make it easy for 50. “I need to be wined and dined baby!” he exclaimed.
50 Cent reposted the interview clip on his Instagram account making sure to let Butler know that the feeling is mutual. Hell, we may see Butler on Power soon.
