Cardi B is still out here making money moves with her smash hit, “Bodak Yellow”. She took the stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! as part of the show’s Mercedes Benz concert series in New York City.
After Jimmy Kimmel introduced the show’s performer, the Bronx emcee came out to a full house in an all pink ensemble. She was sporting a hot pink boa, sparkling pink leggings, and magenta frames, and was accompanied by energetic dancers and rocked another televised performance of her hit single.
Cardi is fresh off a three-week streak atop of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, before Post Malone and 21 Savage’s “Rockstar” dethroned her. Nevertheless, the Gangsta B*tch rapper became the first female rapper to have a solo record No. 1 since Lauryn Hill in 1998. Not only did “Bodak Yellow” earn Cardi her first No. 1 single, made female emcee history as the longest No. 1 single by a solo artist, she also received a platinum plaque.
