Maroon 5 joined forces with A$AP Rocky for their latest banger, “Whiskey”. As we (im)patiently wait for Rocky to release his solo project for the year, he has been dropping bars on a lot of people’s tracks, including Playboi Carti, Famous Dex, Lana Del Ray, and G-Eazy just to name a few.
The Harlem emcee offered some light melodic bars over the piano-infused beat. Meanwhile, Adam Levine, did his signature croon under the gentle beat.
Maroon 5 has been linking up with a lot of dope artists including SZA for their funky track, “What Lovers Do“, and Future for the banger “Cold”. Meanwhile its been a eventful yet for the A$AP Mob’s frontman. Rocky has been featured on The Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, and is reportedly working on a futuristic sounding album. The project will follow up to his sophomore release in 2015, At.Long.Last.A$AP.
