2017 has been a solid year for Nike. We have seen the return of iconic silhouettes such as the Nike SB Dunk. However we want to remind you, 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the Air Max 97 silhouette. The brand is keeping the party going with the highly anticipated release of the “Volt” Air Max 97.
The Volt colorway boast the iconic leather and mesh upper. Cast in black and volt-green, this shoe will certainly strike a chord in the hearts of vintage sneaker collectors worldwide.
Secondary features include 3M reflective accents on the signature wavy overlays. Sitting atop a white midsole followed by the volt colored, Air Max bubble cushioning. A black and white outsole finishes off this silhouette.
You can expect these to hit the street on October 28. Retailing at $170, this shoe is available in both men and women’s sizes. The Volt Air Max will be available at select Nike stores as well as the Nike website. Switzerland retailer, Titolo will also be carrying this shoe. If you still cant secure a pair in your size, check after market suppliers eBay and Kixify.
