Colin Kaepernick can’t get a job with the NFL, but he just inked a million dollar book deal with Random House imprint One World, according to Page Six. One World, which launched last year, also publishes JAY-Z and Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Ex-San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin initiated a peaceful kneeling protest during the game’s national anthem, which reached new heights since it started last year. Colin ruffled so many feathers that even the President of the United States is more concerned with NFL owners discipling their players who “disrespect the country and flag” by kneeling instead of worrying about the people in Puerto Rico who are in direct danger, or any other important matters.

Page Six also previously reported that the former QB was “taking meetings with publishers in the New York offices of WME”. There’s no update on whether this story is true or not, but we hope it is because there’s a story to tell.
