Yeezy’s latest running sneaker has evidently been ripped off by fast fashion king Zara. Adidas Originals’ YEEZY Boost Wave Runner 700 was designed by Kanye West himself and has so far proved to be a surefire hit. Looking to capitalize off the stylish kicks, Zara has devised a sneaker model that looks almost identical to Ye’s design.
Earth toned and chunky shaped, the Zara sneaker has taken some design elements straight from the YEEZY Boost Wave Runner 700s. With its suede panels and thick laces, the sneaker mimics the newest Kanye West produced runner.
Ye’s sneakers are currently on eBay for upwards of $600 USD, so the Zara version of the kicks are an exponentially more affordable option.
