Ever since Steve Harvey’s show premiered almost two months ago on September 5th, ratings have been struggling. Sources believe it’s because of Harvey’s visit to Donald Trump after he was elected President of the United States.

It’s not just the show titled ‘Steve’ that is on the struggle bus, many of his businesses are becoming less popular. Harvey does host Family Feud and Little Big Shots and those shows are apparently losing ratings as well. All from that fateful visit on January 13th to the Trump Tower.

Harvey was bashed all over social media when visiting the President and his response to the backlash was that he was happy he went to visit. He hoped something positive would have came out of meeting him. Clearly that is not the case. His wife, Marjorie Harvey, advised that he shouldn’t go meet with Trump. Now Harvey is feeling the effects of the visit and on his radio show stated, “Meeting with Donald Trump was the worst mistake of my life.”

However, a source close to production says that people just aren’t feeling the show. It isn’t warm or engaging. Steve Harvey has joined the club of black celebrities exiled from the black community for even showing an ounce of support for Trump. Those celebrities who are feeling the wrath of the black community include Chrisette Michele, Stacey Dash, and Mary Mary’s Tina Campbell.
