TRIPSIXX releases his project Metal Gear Tape which consists of production from Krinny, High Klassified, Da-P (of Soulection fame), Lost Planets and more. As part of his campaign, TRIPSIXX also accompanies the project with “Wake The Dead Up” a Justin Serran directed visual display of youth culture going haywire. It’s also one of the more turnt-up songs on the project.

He hasn’t dropped a project ever since We Own The Night, but TRIPSIXX is back, moodier than ever and it sounds fantastic. Seemingly autonomous with his sing/rap technique, this project is smooth Trap-influenced Future R&B, undergirded by satisfying “Metal Gear Solid”-influenced vibes and punchy kicks. He continues to blur the “Toronto Sound” line, taking it to a new, more satisfying mutant level. Stream the project below.
