Deep in the abyss of the Lower East Side of Manhattan, an art exhibit was displayed that was highly anticipated and as homegrown as it gets. Kate Storch and the rest of the good people at the Avant Garde Gallery hosted “The Evolution Of ZA ONE” show in Za’s hometown of the Lower East Side of Manhattan, which drew some of the most impactful names and faces in NYC’s ever-expanding graff culture.
With ZA ONE OGM being a writer from the unforgettable “85 Live” crack era, the OGM general’s work oozes the expressions of the old New York, yet still equates the vibrancy of today’s contemporary art with his unique color blends, letter formats and original characters.
