Ryu and Guile. Each pair of raw denim jeans designed to personify the personality of the characters they were inspired by. Available in two styles, the “Ryu hadoken” selvedge and the “Guile sonic boom” selvedge.

“We are denim nerds who are also video game nerds”, says owner and designer of Naked & Famous Denim, Brandon Svarc. “Working closely with Capcom to create these exciting jeans is literally a nostalgic dream come true for our team, he continued.

These raw denim is manufactured in Canada from denim which was carefully woven on old-fashioned shuttle looms in Okayama Japan. The fabrics are dyed with indigo in a special process called rope dying. During this process, only the outermost layers of the cotton threads absorb indigo dye, leaving the core of the yarn white. These jeans are expertly crafted to enhance with age.this unique blend of fabric will gradually shed layers of indigo and slowly reveal an alluring and uniquely faded pair of jeans.

If you are an avid Street Fighter fan or Capcom enthusiast, look forward to the collaboration arriving this month at select Naked & Famous Denim suppliers globally. These exclusive raw denim jeans will retail for $184.

Looking at these jeans, we reminisce on all the good times spent packing into local arcades to fill machines with quarters to battle for bragging rights in the neighborhood. Like “Bishop” and “Radames” in the 1992 classic Juice.
