If you didn’t know by now, Iman Shumpert raps too. The Cleveland Cavaliers player was the latest to step into the Ciroc Studios to spit a fire 16.
You gonna make me take this mask off, the titties out when I’m in town and TiTi dance to Mask Off, Shumpert rhymes over the “Grammy Family” beat. A lot of Hip Hop fans might have thought this would’ve been too ambitious for the basketball player, but he held his own rapping about his family and work ethic.
Shumpert is no stranger to the music scene. Over the course of 5 years, he has been dropping tracks and mixtapes, he even responded to Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse. Iman posted a clip of his freestyle on his Instagram and the caption said, “#SubstanceAbuse coming soon”, which is presumably is the title of his forthcoming mixtape. How cute would it be for his wife, Teyana Taylor to be featured on his tape. This freestyle is probably an appetizer of what’s expected to come.
