The untitled Deadpool sequel has a teaser trailer titled “Wet on Wet”.
The hilarious trailer parodies Bob Ross’ PBS painting lessons. Ryan Reynolds is presumably under the mask, wearing a Ross wig. He mimics the late artist’s mellow, laid-back tone as he “whacks off” the dirty paint brush against the easel which was a signature of Ross. Deadpool continued to display other Ross staples like slapping wet paint on the wet canvas, meanwhile, cracking jokes about cocaine. Then the lesson is interrupted by 10 seconds of action-filled scenes from the movie, and returns to a Thanksgiving themed painting.
Additionally, the teaser comes with this cryptic code:
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
The untitled flick will be in theaters June 1, 2018. Check out the teaser above.
