The hilarious trailer parodies Bob Ross’ PBS painting lessons. Ryan Reynolds is presumably under the mask, wearing a Ross wig. He mimics the late artist’s mellow, laid-back tone as he “whacks off” the dirty paint brush against the easel which was a signature of Ross. Deadpool continued to display other Ross staples like slapping wet paint on the wet canvas, meanwhile, cracking jokes about cocaine. Then the lesson is interrupted by 10 seconds of action-filled scenes from the movie, and returns to a Thanksgiving themed painting.
