Hailing from Bakersfield, California is one of the most talented, lyrical, rappers on the rise- Truth Ali. When Truth raps, it’s nothing short of authentic hip-hop and lyricism. He is very technical when it comes to rapping; he values wordplay and metaphors. It’s not as common these days for a rapper to be this deep rooted in hip-hop, but thankfully there are true emcees like Truth Ali.

With inspirations like Tupac’s passion and Nas’ lyrics, Truth Ali is destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. He’s already worked with Eminem’s Slaughterhouse artists Royce da 5’9” and Kxng Crooked, Kanye West’s GOOD Music artist Cyhi The Prynce, and Skyzoo.

Truth’s grandfather, Sunny Stokes, was a jazz/funk singer and encouraged Truth Ali to pursue his passion and go for it. Right before Sunny passed away, he told Truth Ali “you got the last round”, which is a common phrase in boxing. Truth’s last name “Ali” was inspired from this boxing quote, since Muhammad Ali was the greatest of all time. Truth is striving to be the greatest of all time. He is living up to his grandfather’s advice and is going all in with his music.

Truth Ali is dropping his album Resurrection Season 1 which will be like a TV series. In addition to songs, there will also be skits that will have listeners tuning in like a TV show series.
