After being broken up for 8 years, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are “getting close again.”
The once Hip-Hop/Pop power couple split back in 2009 after a 7-year relationship and ever since their split, culture enthusiasts have yearned for the couple to join forces once again.
A source recently revealed to E! News that the two music icons are re-connecting and are reaching closeness in the process. According to the source, Janet and Jermaine started to reconnect before her “Janet State of the World” tour which follows her split from her ex, Wissam Al Mana. After four years of marriage, in April 2017 Jackson and Mana called it quits. The former couple welcomed a baby boy back in January, Eissa Al Mana, just four months before their separation.
Janet and Jermaine are reportedly “consistently in contact” with one another. Perhaps we will see more of the pop legend in the spotlight if the once blissful bond is revived.
