Fresh off the “Key to Life Tour” featuring The Lox and Shady/Griselda Recording Artists Conway the Machine and Westsidegunn is Rochester native and rhyme slayer Rigz. The heart and soul of the collective DaCloth has been disturbing the peace all 2017 with multiple appearances on some of New York’s biggest radio shows, As well as winning some of the city’s top showcases.
An appearance on Shade 45’s Showoff radio hosted by Dj Statik Selektah landed Rigz an invitation to tour several cities as the Dj’s Special Guest where he more than made his presence felt as the artist to watch in 2018.
Coming off the release of his “Calculated” EP entirely produced by platinum producer V.Don and narrated by Philadelphia’s own Gillie Da Kid. Rigz is set to put up some numbers before the end of the fourth quarter and well into the New Year with his release of the Statik Selektah hosted “I Got Samples” Mixtape Dropping in December.
Rigz already has work on the table and bagged up with artists Sheek Louch, Ransom and Willie da Kid set to hit the streets. With work from the likes of Roc Marciano, Dark Lo, Conway the Machine and newcomer Ninoman being the topic of corner store conversation as you read this.
With that being said it was a no-brainer for Roc Nation’s Statik Selektah to say “you’re coming with me”. The “I Got Samples” project will precede his top of the year release “New Golden Era” bringing back that feel of the golden era of hip hop. Except this time it’ll be ushered in by a set of fresh legs ready to make himself a household name. Rigz!!!!!! Remember the name……….
