Monday night over 256 celebs, media personalities, and movers and shakers filled the AMC Empire 25 theater in Times Square to attend a private screening of DEN OF THIEVES in NYC. Music and culture journalist Courtney Brown and Social media influencer Ayisha Diaz stepped into the limelight as complete chaos ensued in the wall-to-wall packed theater.
Guests quickly filled the theater to view the most anticipated crime drama of the year. With pre-promotion across Twitter and Instagram—snow and theater issues couldn’t keep the crowd from filling the lobby. Over 70 people were turned away due to theater size but that didn’t stop the attendees from raving about the Den of Thieves cake, Jell-O shots and most importantly the incredible movie.
Ayisha Diaz gave the audience the surprise of the evening by introducing the elite cast of the movie. O’Shea Jackson Jr., Pablo Schreiber, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson and Gerard Butler walked out to the crowd erupting with applause and cheers as 50 gave the crowd an impromptu speech and introduction of the movie as he interacted with the audience.
