No rookie to the industry, Nipsey Hussle was once signed to Epic Records before parting ways to start his own independent label All Money In Records. From the release of his first mixtape Slauson Boy Volume 1 to now, the timeline of events prove how worthy Nipsey is of all the success he has garnered.
In a new TIDAL exclusive documentary titled 10 Rings, Nipsey takes fans on his personal journey detailing the strategic moves that helped define his career and notoriety, including the marketing strategy that attracted Jay-Z to his brand and turning down multiple deals from various labels and why he decided to partner with Atlantic Records.
The 10 Rings documentary features his business partner and brother, Blacc Samm and SVP of A & R at Atlantic Records, Dallas Martin. Running a little over nine minutes, the visual was directed by Kid Art, executive produced by Cartier Brown and associate produced by Rocko Rathon and Frank Colonia in collaboration with Chariot Pictures. In addition to the documentary, TIDAL is giving away tickets to Nipsey Hussle’s album release show at the Hollywood Paladium on February 15, 2018, where Nipsey will perform tracks off of the highly-anticipated Victory Lap a day before it’s release.
