Cardi B has officially broken the Beyonce’ held record as the first female artist to simultaneously have five hit records on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Billboard chart. Just last week, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper tied with Queen Bey with four singles which include “Bodak Yellow,” “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage, Migos‘ “MotorSport” with Nicki Minaj, and G-Eazy‘s “No Limit” featuring A$AP Rocky.

It was her recent 90s nostalgia bound collab with Bruno Mars “Finesse” that helped her snatch the spot. Billboard reports the Bronx rapper now joins the ranks with Drake and Kendrick Lamar, who are the only artists to reach her profound tier for the most synchronous top 10 songs. Drake has reached the plateau eight times back in 2016, while the following year, Kendrick Lamar achieved the reach at one shot.

At this point, Cardi B is the only artist to obtain the rank with her recent sweep.

Last year, her most identified hit, “Bodak Yellow” which went platinum, broke an extensive record, a nearly 20 year one, making her the first female rapper to dominate the no. 1 spot on the Hot 100 chart preceding the great Lauryn Hill‘s 1998 “Doo Wop (That Thing).”

Well, well. Cardi B is certainly on the verge of changing the landscape in the business, yes the business, of popular music. Congratulations to the once reality tv and Instagram star.
