SHOWTIME will be premiering hip-hop documentary Word Is Bond in February. The documentary will tell the story behind the importance of rhythms and style across the hip-hop eras. It puts the spotlight on many rappers whose careers made a significant impact on the rap game.
The trailer features many artist including Nas, Rakim, Freeway, Rhymefest, and Styles. Director Sacha Jenkins captures the revolutionary power of lyrics in the world of Hip-Hop music, exploring the many different angles that hip-hop poetics from J.Cole, Biggie, Jadakiss, Rapsody, Tech N9ne, and many more.
