Police are looking for Chicago Rapper/record producer and former Love and Hip Hop Hollywood cast member Yung Berg for skipping a court date according to a new report from TMZ. The “Sexy Lady” rapper was due in court for a marijuana bust in Miami last October, during the week of the BET Awards. The cops were called that night, because of a reported altercation in the rapper’s hotel room.

A report from December says that Berg’s arrest was not just because of the altercation and two blunts that were found on him at the time, but because of a 9-year-old warrant he had from a similar marijuana arrest – so they took the Ray J-collaborator off to jail.

Now, Yung Berg is making life harder than it has to be by skipping out on court dates, and could be looking at some real consequences for avoiding what could’ve been a misdemeanor charge. Granted, nine years ago marijuana laws were not nearly as lenient as they are becoming today, but avoiding court won’t make Berg’s situation any easier.

Berg was once a very popular figure in hip-hop, but the Chicago Hitmaker seems to have a hard time avoiding legal trouble. Following his start on Love and Hip Hop Hollywood,  the rapper was accused of assaulting then girlfriend Masika Tucker in New York City. Reports claim that Yung Berg choked Tucker over allegedly maxing out Berg’s credit card. Yung Berg was reportedly offered a plea deal to take a batterer’s intervention program in either New York City or Los Angeles.

Because of this assault case, Yung Berg was booted from the Mona Scott Young-produced Love and Hip Hop Hollywood and forced back into the realm of irrelevance.
