After it was announced that Drake broke Spotify’s one-day streaming record for his recently-released track “God’s Plan”, it appears Drake’s has one more record to add to his resume. “God’s Plan”, which was released Friday night (Jan. 19.), was streamed an incredible 14 million times worldwide via Apple Music.

In 2015, Drake signed a multi-million dollar deal with then-upstart streaming platform Apple Music. The deal featured an exclusivity agreement for Drake’s future music that would be released. He and Future’s mixtape What A Time To Be Alive and his 2016 blockbuster Views were both exclusive to Apple Music when they were first released. Views and his 2017 More Life made Drake one of the top streamed artists for both years mentioned.

With Drake already on a roll for the start of 2018, could more music from the 6 God come this year? Only time will tell. If “God’s Plan” is any indicator, 2018 could be another banner year for the talented Canadian artist.
