Tickets are on sale now, and if you are already planning your outfit, Nike has the perfect pair of sneakers for the occasion.

Kendrick has collaborated with the swoosh brand to add some personal flavor to a classic silhouette with the Nike Cortez Kenny 1 DAMN. As one of Nike’s original silhouettes, the Cortez is built for comfort. Be that as it may, this pair celebrates the accomplishments of King Kenny‘s certified double platinum album, DAMN. An album which sold 603,000 in the first week alone, providing the comfortable seat for the California king to sit atop the Billboard charts for 25 consecutive weeks.  Subsequently, earning his third straight Grammy nomination.

Kenny has chosen to drape his Cortez in a white leather upper. Accented with the album title on the tongues, underlined with a swoosh. Using a gym-red thread, Nike also elected to embroider  “DAMN” into the outer sides of the upper.

In contrast, the inner part of the upper features Nike’s signature swoosh. Final details include: gym-red Nike branding on the heel, offset by a black tongue, and a white foam midsole and a tinge of black.

The White/Black-Gym Red: Nike Cortez Kenny 1 DAMN will release on Jan. 28. Retailing for just $100, This is a decent pick up, considering they will be a rare find once they are gone.

No matter where you’re from, gotta keep it real west coast when you rock these. If you want them, keep your eyes peeled, and pick them up where you can. Don’t expect to find these in May.
