Rita Ora shows she’s still sitting pretty after her label split with RocNation.

Last night at Public Arts in NYC, Rita Ora dazzled fans with an intimate performance to promote her new single, “Proud.” Performing to a packed house, Ora warmed up the crowd with some her hits like “Black Widow” and who braved the winter cold to see the singer hit the stage. Looking stunning in neon pink dress that gave an 80’s vibes, the singer debuted the new single among 80’s art deco images and neon green imagery to compliment her collaboration with Absolute Lime.

The whole event was to kick-off Grammy weekend, which take place in New York City for the first time in years. Lines were almost around the block, and the event was filled to capacity. Once inside party goer’s enjoyed throwback vibes while drinking complimentary Rita Ora themed drinks, like the Rita Apple Blossom and Absolute Lime MargaRITA, all obvious puns intended. The flair of the entire night fit nicely with the singer’s new single “Proud,” which has an 80’s eurovibe and one of her latest offerings after signing with Warner Music after her very public and albeit messy split with RocNation.

All smiles and super appreciative of her fans, the singer spoke candidly during her set about how happy she was to share new music and some of her favorite cover tunes. Attendees were invited to download the new single for free using the Spotify app and a new QR barcode resembling soundwaves on promotional stickers available at the event.
