The rumors that Rae Sremmurd was supposedly going their separate ways to pursue solo careers was suddenly shut down by Swae Lee back in 2017. Lee ensured fans that the Sremm Life chronicles would be continuing without a doubt. Nonetheless, the plot twist comes into play with updates that Sremm Life 3 would, in fact, be a triple disc album.
Mike Will Made-It announced the triple album news at the 2018 Grammy Awards as apart of red carpet dialogue with the Pitchfork outlet. Swae Lee then took to Twitter to confirm the news. He tweeted:
SremmLife three is a Triple disk one side RaeSremmurd , one side Slim Jxmmi , and one side Swae Lee wanted to put a twist on this album ??

The duo has already confirmed titles for their solo debuts to be apart of the triple-disc album. Mike Will commented on the details of the three-disc album.“We got the Swae Lee, ‘Swaecation’ Slim Jxmmi’s ‘Jxmtroduction’, and then the Rae Sremmurd side”.
Prior to the announcement of the triple disc album, Swae Lee took to Twitter to express his sentiments on not being nominated for a Grammy. In short, he believes the Grammy’s deemed him too young to be worthy although his “Black Beatles” hit landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, he ensured that Sremm Life 3 will be undeniable and almost impossible to go unnoticed.
