On Monday, January 29th, Tekashi 6ix9ine stood before the court in a sentence hearing, and was given on more chance to pass the GED. After his attorney asked for more time for the “KEKE” rapper to prepare for the test, Judge Felicia Mennin initially did not issue much sympathy.

“This case has been happening since 2015. This is ridiculous,” stated Mennin.

6ix9ine is currently facing three years in prison after pleading guilty to the use of a child in a sex performance. This is his last chance. If he fails, he can land behind bars.

The Bushwick, NY native has taken the GED in the past, but has struggled with the science portion according to his attorney. He vowed to prepare and retake the test, being that his life as a free man depends on it. Born Daniel Hernandez, 6ix9ine was expelled from school in the 8th grade and never returned.
